Heini Löppönen

Originally a dancer and dance teacher, Heini was introduced to yoga over 15 years ago. She fell in love with yoga’s ability to be tough and challenging yet soft and relaxing. She became a certified yoga teacher in 2011 and has taught ever since. She teaches Hatha and Vinyasa yoga as well as softer Yin and Restorative yoga. Understanding the individual and their unique build is a core value of her teachings. For Heini, yoga is about finding balance in the body, in the mind, and in life in general. It’s a continually evolving practice to be tailored to an individual’s needs, even in group classes.

She can make you work super hard and master poses you were just dreaming of before while you find yourself smiling throughout the practice. Nuya says: “Yoga is a way of life, it is a life of self-discipline based on simple living and high thinking, it is the art of rightful living perfected. It is not a religion, and it can be practiced by everyone.”

Friendly staff with a great view over phuket town. The Plearn restaurant has a magnificent view and has a delicious and interesting menu. The rooms are well equipped and super comfortable. I participated in yin and Yang yoga sessions which were super relaxing

The hotel was a great experience, it is very well located in the centre of the island and has amazing views. The sunrise yoga was very nice and also the aqua Zumba. The yoga studio is also very nice. The restaurant is nicely decorated, offers delicious and well presented food and also great views day and night. Rooms were comfortable. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely visit again.

I had such a beautiful stay at Hilltop! The rooms were so comfortable, I also took part in a sunrise yoga, a yoga class in their stunning studio and an aqua zumba class, which was really fun. The food was also amazing! I would really recommend this hotel to anyone 😁
